His high energy style of accordion music attracts the attention of
all ages. In 1993, Chris received the NEW DAWN AWARD from the Texas
Polka Music Association and hopes to compete for a National Grammy
Award in the near future. His goal is to bring back the popularity
of accordion music and to share it with as wide of an audience as
possible.
A
Word From Chris:
In 1999 I signed a contract with MDM Music to have my work
distributed and promoted by GLAD MUSIC CO. of Houston. The producer is
Mike Daily who has been George Strait’s Steel Guitar player since the
beginning in 1975. Mike’s grandfather, H. W. "Pappy" Daily,
was George Jones’ producer during the time that Jones had many of his
biggest hits. Their catalog contains songs written or performed (or both)
by: Willie
Nelson, Freddy Fender; Big Bopper; Playboys II (former
Bob Wills’ band), Floyd Cramer, Al Dean, Lee Roy Matocha, Joe Patek,
Johnny Bush, and George Strait. I am proud to be among these country music and polka music veterans and
greatly appreciate the incredible support of all my fans and the radio DJs
across the country, Also, I want to thank Mark Hybner, manager of David
Kersh and the Emotions, for his advice and help. A special thanks to
Father
Joe Hybner for his never ending encouragement. And thanks to Mom and Dad,
for making music a part of my life. |
